CT WR looking for big senior season

Wide receiver Hunter Murray out of Windsor, Conn. has gotten interest from local schools so far. According to Windsor head coach Mark Welch, the 6-foot-2, 175-pounder still has some work to do to assure himself a chance to play Division I football.
"He's getting a lot of interest from Connecticut and Boston College at the moment," Welch said. "I really think his senior year is going to be his year to prove himself. He doesn't have any favorites right now as I don't think he's given much thought of college yet."

Last season Murray hauled in 20 receptions for 300 yards and two touchdowns.
"He wasn't our leading receiver, but he did well and we also spelled him at safety too," he said. "The thing about Hunter is that he is a very coachable kid that is fundamentally sound. He has good athleticism in terms of his jumping ability and doesn't mind being a blocker as well. He goes out there and does exactly what you teach him which is very hard to find these days.
"Hunter is also a real likable quiet kid too. He's personable and very well mannered and is the type of kid you want on your team."
