CT receiver names a favorite

Earlier this month, Bloomfield, Conn. wide receiver Marcus Cooper took in a camp at Rutgers. The 6-foot-3, 185-pounder had a good visit, but is he close to landing more offers in the near future.
"I went to Rutgers and it went pretty well," he said. "I talked to the coaches up there and they said they liked my performance and would be in contact with me more soon. They didn't say anything about an offer, but I've been getting a lot of letters from them."

Currently Cooper holds three offers from Temple, Buffalo and Troy.
"That's it right now, but I'm hearing Delaware talking about offering and Iowa said they want to see a couple of my games this year before offering."
Does the two-star prospect have any leaders?
"Iowa is definitely a favorite and then Temple is up there since they are showing me the most interest. They have to be a favorite," he said. "I went to Iowa this summer and liked the facilities and their program. I like how everything is set up there.
"As for Temple, it's a rebuilding program. I like the fact they are on the rise and it's a good place for me to get playing time and experience."
Cooper confirmed that if the Hawkeyes were to offer that would completely change his recruitment.
"They would definitely be my favorite and I'd probably be pretty quick on a decision."
