CSU scores a pledge

It looks like Sonny Lubick and Colorado State is officially on the board with a commitment for the class of 2008.

According to his mother, Jake Landers of Durango, Colo., has pledged to CSU. His brother, Wade Landers, plays defensive end for the Rams.

"He drew interest from CU, Mizzou and Cal, but he has committed to Sonny Lubick to play at CSU in 2008 at defensive tackle," Kristen Landers, Jake's mother, said. "He was all conference last year for the Southwest League. He was as the team MVP at both offensive tackle and defensive tackle, and he has a 3.0 grade-point average."
