CSU impresses in-state DE

Colorado State had a huge recruiting weekend with visitors coming in from all over the nation, but the Rams also focused a lot of effort on local prospects. One of the local prospects was Littleton (Colo.) Arapahoe three-star defensive end Tommie Hill.
Hill had a great time on his visit, according to his grandmother Jackie Ilg, but he’s not ready to commit quite yet.

“We’re not committing yet,” Ilg, who takes care of Hill, said. “He had a great time on the visit, and we really think highly of the coaches and the team up there. We would like him to stay close to home, but he has some other visits set up, and he’s going to take those first.”
Hill is scheduled to visit Nebraska next weekend, if the Huskers go ahead and bring in official visitors without a head coach in place. He’s also scheduled to visit Oregon on January 9. Hill has scholarship offers from all of the teams, including Wyoming, which he visited back on September 26.
Hill, who is 6-foot-7 and 215 pounds, is ranked as the nation’s NO. 27 weakside defensive end.
