Crunkleton set for first visit

Denver (Colo.) Mullen cornerback Grant Crunkleton continues to receive interest from schools as he prepares to take his first official visit.
“I have one official visit scheduled,” the 6-foot, 170-pound Crunkleton said. “I am going to Arizona State on Oct. 23. That is the only one I have set. I’m talking to some places about going, but nothing is put in stone yet.”

The three other schools in the picture at this point are Oregon, UCLA and Kansas State.
“I don’t really have one top school,” the three-star rated Crunkleton said. “They are all kind of at the top. I want to see them all. I really want to play out of state, so I think I have found four schools that are good situations.”
Crunkleton has been limited in his duties as a defensive player this year, but that is by design of the other teams’ offensive coordinators.
“I’m not sure how many tackles I have,” he said. “I have two interceptions on the season. They don’t throw my way a lot. Every now and then they do. I think they are kind of going away from me some. We have a lot of talented players on our team, so if I don’t get it, someone else will. As long as we win the game, I don’t care if I get any action my direction.”
