Crunkleton ready to schedule visits

Denver (Colo.) Mullen cornerback Grant Crunkleton has four scholarship offers on the table and another one the way as the recruiting process continues forward.
“Colorado State has offered me verbally,” the 6-foot, 170-pound Crunkleton said. “That would be the newest of the offers for me. Colorado, Kansas State, Arizona State and Oregon have all officially offered me.”

Despite the offers, Crunkleton is not ready to start making any decisions.
“I want to take my visits before I decide anything,” he said. “That will let me learn as much as I can about these schools before I have to make a decision. I want to visit Arizona State, Kansas State, Oregon, UCLA and Tennessee. I’ll see if I need a fifth official visit later on then I will take one. I don’t have any dates set for visits yet, though. Hopefully before long, I can start to get some dates lined up."
Crunkleton has had several phone calls this month from coaches with the contact period opening up.
“I’ve talked with coaches from about every school that is recruiting me. I talk to (Kansas State assistant) coach (Greg) Peterson about their team and their situation just about every week. I’ve talked to Oregon and they have stressed how much they want me to be a part of their program. I camped at UCLA this summer and I’ve talked with the coaches there in the past couple of weeks, too.”
Through Mullen’s first two games, Crunkleton has recorded 12 tackles.
