Crumps offer list growing quickly

Since spring football began two weeks ago in the Sunshine State, Jacksonville (Fla.) Bartram Trail wide receiver Jared Crump has been a popular attraction to college coaches. He has since his offer list grow to a half-dozen schools at this point with more showing interest.
"I have been offered by West Virginia, Troy, Southern Miss, Wake Forest, FIU, and Liberty," Crump said. "Some of the schools that are interested include UCF, Arkansas, South Carolina, USF, and a couple other schools."

At this stage, Crump is still in the infancy of his recruitment.
"I am really just researching a lot of the schools," Crump said. "I don't know much about a lot of those schools so I am just trying to learn more."
When spring football wraps up, the 6-foot-3, 185-pound wide receiver hopes to sit down with his family and sort out a short list of schools to make his way to for visits.
"Over the summer I think I am going to visit a lot of schools with my dad," Crump said. "We will sit down and make a list. We will see which ones are in a location that we can make it to this summer."
When the Northeast Florida prospect makes his way onto college campuses, he is looking for the right feel on and off the field to help him gauge where will best fit him over his collegiate career.
"I am looking at the reputation of a school, the people, the campus, and that feel I get when I go on campus," Crump said. "With football I am looking at the team, my position coach, and the players. I want to be able to picture myself being able to go to a school for four years even if I wasn't playing football."
As a junior, Crump has 34 receptions for 690 yards and 11 touchdowns.
