Crouch ready for NC State visit

Fayetteville (N.C.) E.E. Smith offensive tackle Curtis Crouch is ready for his second official visit this weekend to NC State. is he close to making a decision?
"I'm not close to deciding," said the 6-foot-6, 322-pounder. "I still have to visit Clemson and Virginia Tech, sometime in January. I don't know those dates yet. Clemson is coming in to my school on Thursday and I should know then. I'll probably firm up my date with Tech next week."
Crouch has hosted one head coach so far in his home, NC State head man Chuck Amato, who came in on the first day possible. He's expecting to have coach Stoops, Bowden and Beamer in his house down the line. He's eliminated one school and will take only four visits.
"Tennessee is out," he said. "I'll just take my four and decide after that. I can't really say I have a leader."
However, Crouch does have one coach who he finds the most down-to-earth.
"Coach Wilds at Virginia Tech is really cool," he said. "He and I just rap a lot. He's a funny guy."
Crouch is ranked as the No. 57 player in the country overall and is the No. 9 offensive tackle.
