Crouch hosts Amato, adds new team

Fayetteville (N.C.)E.E. Smith offenisve lineman Curtis Crouch had a familiar face visit Tuesday night, when North Carolina State coach Chuck Amato dropped by.
“It was a good visit,” Crouch said. “I like coach Amato quite a bit. N.C. State is one of the first schools to offer me and they’ve been interested from the start. I feel honored that they are still interested.”

Crouch is focusing a lot of his interest on J.H. Rose this week with his E.E. Smith high school team two wins away from a state championship. Rose is the defending state champ.
“I want to reschedule my official visit with Virginia Tech to sometime after the season is over,” Crouch said. “They will be visiting me at home next week. I don't know when it will be."
A new ACC school is being mentioned by Crouch – Clemson.
“I’ve been in contact with them and I like what they are doing with their program, so I want to give it a look,” Crouch said. "They've impressed me."
Crouch has already taken a look at Oklahoma, and enjoyed the visit.
“It was great,” the 6-foot-6, 322-pound prospect said. “Everything there was great from the school to the tutors. I really liked the players and coaches I met. It was a great atmosphere.”
Tennessee is also in the mix for the talented lineman.
"They're a great program and have a lot of talent."
Crouch said he had been thinking about making a decision in late December, but it may be January now.
“I want to take all my visits before I make a decision,” Crouch said.
