Crouch bumps back Tech visit

With Virginia Tech scoring a monster victory over rival Virginia this weekend, Tech fans had to be hoping to get a few major commitments from the weekend. Well, one of the players expected to be in on an official visit didn’t make it.
“We’re still in the playoffs,” said Fayetteville (N.C.) E.E. Smith four-star tackle Curtis Crouch.

“We won 70-34 this weekend. We really played a great game. Our running back racked up almost 500 yards.”
Crouch says that running back is just a sophomore, so we’ll have to keep an eye on him. As far as recruiting goes, Crouch said he’s likely now to visit Virginia Tech on December 10. He’s still working on visits with N.C. State and Tennessee, too.
Crouch, ranked as the No. 9 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 57 player overall in the Rivals100, has already visited Oklahoma back on November 12. He still is not ready to claim a leader, but in the past N.C. State had been his top team.
