Cross picks up No. 13 14

Izaan Cross picked up two more offers, these coming in from North Carolina and Tulane. That makes 14 for this tight end/defensive end prospect from Flowery Branch, Georgia. USF, Arkansas,Georgia Tech (first to offer), South Carolina, Central Florida, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Maryland, N.C. State, East Carolina, Wake Forest have also offered.
"Light blue is my favorite color,"Cross said. "Seriously, I know North Carolina is a great school. But I do not know too much about their football team other than they are in ACC. I haven't really followed them. I did talk with coach (John) Blake. He is really cool.

"I couldn't tell you too much about Tulane other than they have good academics and they are in Conference USA. The coach there said he wanted me to put Tulane in the running."
Cross remains open with the recruiting process. He will camp at Georgia Tech on June 14th.
"I think I am going to make a trip to the Carolinas and visit all those schools that have offered me from there sometime this month. That's all I know right now."
Cross and his teammates started summer workouts this morning. He was a grueling first session that lasted from 8 a.m. to 12:45.
"We had speed training with Chip Smith (from CES) first and then lifting weights. I got home and took a 45 minute shower and have to get ready for a basketball game tonight. I am feeling it right now."
