Crooks commits to UW over Minnesota

"I committed to Wisconsin," tight end/linebacker Andy Crooks said. "We called the coaches. Coach Alvarez wasn't in, but I told coach Murphy."
"We visited both Wisconsin and Minnesota last week. They had both already offered. I felt Wisconsin was a better overall fit for me."

The 6-foot-3 and 230 pounder from Wausau (Wis.) East is ranked as a three star prospect by Rivals100.com. Crooks was a second team all-conference selection during his junior season playing mostly linebacker. He made 45 solo tackles and had 34 assists. Crooks has a 3.6 GPA and scored a 29 on the ACT.
