Waynesville (N.C.) Tuscola quarterback Jonathon Crompton has a solid top three schools. Crompton, a pro-style quarterback, is thinking hard about deciding early. How soon will he make his decision?
"I may decide as early as Wednesday," said the 6-foot-3, 205 pound signal caller who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds.
Crompton has narrowed his list to three schools.
"I like Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina. I have been to each school and each one offers everything I look. They are all even."
Why is the highly sought after quarterback deciding so early?
"I am just not into the recruiting process. I want to make my decision early so I can focus on school and my senior season. I am going to write out all of the positives and negatives about each school and sit down with my parents and talk it through. In the end, I think it will just come down to a gut feeling."
Crompton, who has over 15 scholarship offers, completed 114 of 220 passes this past season for 1,650 yards and 15 scores. He threw just five interceptions.
