Antonio Cromartie
has added his name to the impressive list of
signing day catches for Bobby Bowden & Co.
"There's only one school that it came down to, and it's
been my lifetime dream to go to," he said during a live press conference broadcast by ESPN. "That's why I'm proud to announce...
Florida State."
Cromartie picked the Seminoles over Alabama, Auburn,
Florida, Miami and Michigan, among others.
A member of the
Rivals100 team, Cromartie (6-3,
200, 4.43) is the nation's No. 6 cornerback and was at one time considered a top
five receiver as well. He has recently expressed a greater interest to play on
the defensive side of the ball.
As a senior, he hauled in 16 touchdown catches on
offense while recording 53 tackles, seven interceptions and six blocked punts on
defense.
