Crist picks up big offer

Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame quarterback Dayne Crist has picked up scholarship offers from all over the country. Still, the talented signal caller had yet to pick up an offer from his local favorite in his own backyard but that all changed earlier today.
Crist, 6-5, 225 pounds is one of the nation's elite quarterbacks and our early choice as the top signal caller in the West region. Offers have been coming in from all over the nation and today, USC joined the list.

"I was really excited," Crist said. "All day, people have been asking me if I'm going to commit to them right now, it's been pretty funny.
"USC is definitely one of my top schools but I'm not ready to make a decision. I'm still going to visit Notre Dame and watch Spring practice in April.
"I had an incredible time at LSU when I visited there a few weeks ago and I'm also interested in Michigan, Stanford, Oregon and Iowa.
"I do plan to make an early commitment, sometime before school, but I'm not close to doing anything right now. The USC offer is big though because I've always liked them and they were the one school on my list that hadn't offered.
"Now, I can weigh all of my schools equally because I have offers from all of them. After I visit Notre Dame, I should have a better idea of what I want to do but I still don't want to rush in to anything."
