Criss closes in on decision after visit

The process is definitely winding down fast for Arlington (Texas) Bowie cornerback Dominique Criss who is getting ready to make a decision about where his college days will be located for the next four years.
Baylor, the long-time favorite for the three-star Criss, received the first official visit in mid-November. His second official visit to Tulsa was this past weekend and the prospect enjoyed his time. However, it didn't seem to shake things up as far as leaders go.

"It went good," Criss said about his trip. "I got a chance to talk with coach Steve Kragthorpe. We just talked about where I fit into the situation. I didn't know about their academics and how it ranked so high among all the colleges across the country."
Nonetheless, the Big 12 team still holds the leader spot.
"It didn't do much for me as far as my top team goes," Criss said. "Baylor is still the favorite. They have everything I've been looking for in a school and they're the closest for the most part. It's not a slam dunk by any means. But, I did try to commit once and they said that they didn't want me to decide before I took the trips I was planning."
Now that his trips are done, according to Criss, things are getting closer for a decision.
"I think I'm going to have a decision before Christmas here," Criss said. "I'm done with my visits now and I'm going to decide soon."
Criss mentioned that the gray shirt opportunity from Texas was still on the table as far as he knew.
