Crichton holding trio of offers

Lakewood (Calif.) will have three high level Div I prospects next fall and all three already have early offers. One talented defensive lineman to keep a close watch on in the Spring is Talia Crichton.
Crichton, 6-4, 245 pounds is a two time 1st team all-league selection and had a very nice junior season. The athlete had 61 tackles and seven sacks and draws raves from Lakewood coach Thad MacNeal.

"Every coach who comes by or watches the film always asks about Talia first," MacNeal said. "He's just a physical specimen and a beast. He has a great motor and just jumps off the screen when you watch him.
"He started for us as a sophomore and has really had to overcome a lot. His older brother was shot right in front of him and I can't even imagine what he's going through. He's a great kid though, really quiet and keeps to himself a little but he can bring it."
Crichton has early offers from Hawaii, Oregon and Utah and will likely leave the area to play college ball.
"Yeah, with what has gone on, I think that's safe to say," MacNeal said. "I think he'll go somewhere that has a large Polynesian population on the team and all three schools that have offered fit that pretty well. He's solid academically as well and is really a great prospect."
