Crenshaw LB to take first trip

One of the most underrated players in the Los Angled City Section is linebacker Solomon Elimimian (6-1, 220, 4.6) from Los Angeles (Calif.) Crenshaw. With UCLA bound Reggie Carter (6-1, 225, 4.6) they made one of the best linebacker tandems in the City.
Elimimian has been somewhat overshadowed by his teammates this season as far as recruiting goes but this talented linebacker was the tough Coliseum League's Defensive Player of the Year. He also earned all-city and all-league for his performance in 2004.

"I don't know how many tackles I had," Elimimian said. "But I know I led the team."
Elimimian has been a starter on the varsity level for Crenshaw since his sophomore season and he was good enough as a sophomore to be selected all-league. He repeated that performance as a junior and was selected all-league again. He was also selected all-city as a junior.
Elimimian comes from great football stock. He has two brothers currently starting on the D-I level.
Elimimian's brother Jacob Elimimian is starting at cornerback for San Diego State and he was third in the nation in pass breakups in 2003. His other brother Abraham Elimimian starts at corner for the Hawai'i Warriors.
It may be the Hawai'i Warriors who land this talented linebacker as he is taking his first official visit to the Island this coming weekend on January 21st.
"It is possible that I commit on my trip," Elimimian said. "I hear it is beautiful there and my brother enjoyed it there."
San Diego State could also get in the hunt.
