Crenshaw LB is a dominator

Los Angeles (Calif.) Crenshaw is better known for producing basketball players, but this season Crenshaw could have up to five football players who could end getting division one rides. One of them is linebacker Reggie Carter (6-1, 225, 4.6).
Carter was selected all-city and all-league as a junior after racking up 130 tackles, 22 sacks, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery from his middle linebacker spot.

So far early in the recruiting process Carter has received recruiting attention from UCLA, USC, Cal and Utah.
Cal of course has recruited Crenshaw high extremely well of late.
The scouting report on Carter is he an excellent run stopper and he’s also a tremendous blitzing linebacker.
Carter has the knack of being able to time the snap, then shoot the gap before offensive players can adjust.
There aren’t very many Mike backers who can say they accounted for 22 sacks?
Carter has the nose for and the quick’s to go get the ball. Wherever the ball is Carter will be making the stop or close by.
As far as a favorite college goes, Carter is keeping an open mind except for the fact he wants to stay in the west.
“I would prefer to go to college on the west coast,” Carter said. “I don’t want to go too far from home.”
