Creighton letting his stats do the talking

There is a sleeper prospect coming out of the wood work in the talent-rich state of California and it's cornerback Collin Creighton, who is a big framed defensive back at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds with stats that are showing up on a bigger radar.
The Pleasanton (Calif.) Amador Valley speedy DB had three interceptions during his first game and also a touchdown from his defensive spot. Tackles and fumble recoveries are also starting to mount on Creighton's stat sheet and that in turn is bringing colleges to his doorstep.

"I've heard from Arizona State, Montana State, Utah State, New Mexico State and Colorado," Creighton said. "I haven't talked to any of those schools yet on the phone to ask them about offers, but I'm hoping to pretty soon. My mom went to Texas, so that's like my dream school, but I'm trying to be patient."
After learning from a senior defensive back last year, Creighton is really starting to pour it on during his senior season and put his name out there.
"I have a lot of expectations for myself," Creighton said. "Last year we were 12-1 and lost in the championship, so we all want to get back there and do our part."
As for a decision, Creighton says no matter when he gets offered that will come on his own time.
"I want to see what I can get and make the best decision for myself," Creighton said. "It's going to be the best choice for me and my family.
