Creer high on Texas again

For the most part, Rivals100 running back Lennon Creer has been keeping things quiet on his favorites and a decision timeframe. That appears to be changing as his top five remains in tact but two teams have risen to the top.
The 6-foot-1, 202-pound four-star prospect has been tearing it up for Tatum for somewhere around 400 yards and six touchdowns while nearly averaging 10 yards per carry. On the recruiting front, it appears he's closing in on a decision.

"It's going to be very soon," Creer said. "I think it will be in a couple of weeks. I'll probably end up committing before I get to take any official visits, but I'm working on those right now."
One team in his top five, Tennessee, is apparently part of his top two. Another team is a bit of a surprise. It's a school that was considered off his list and going in another direction.
"Texas and Tennessee are up there with me ahead of the others," Creer said. "If Texas would accept me, I would like to talk to them again. I grew up a Longhorn fan and they wanted to go in another direction a while ago, so I thought I was off their list. I still haven't talked with them
"I never lost interest in them though."
The Volunteers are definitely sitting in good position along with the Longhorns. The visit to Knoxville definitely made an impression on Creer that has kept them high on his favorites list.
"They had great facilities there," Creer said. "It's a great program up there. They took me by the stadium and that was just a great thing to see."
Creer has yet to make it in on a visit to Austin to visit Texas. He's also looking at Oklahoma, Miami, Tennessee, Florida, and Oklahoma State for trips, but says he'll more than likely pull the trigger before he gets to those.
