Creer closing in on decision

The nation's No. 4 running back, Tatum, Texas' Lennon Creer, has a list of three schools he'd like to visit this month. If all goes well, he could have a decision as soon as he gets home.
Creer, the 6-foot-1, 202-pound Rivals100 member, has been a hot topic since going his separate way with Texas after the Horns put him on a deadline for committing. Three out-of-state programs, Florida, Miami, and Tennessee look to be the next destinations for unofficial visits. If he can make it to all three, his commitment may follow close behind that.

"If I get to all three, then I'll have my mind made up on where I want to go," Creer said. "All three schools are in my top five along with Oklahoma and Oklahoma State."
His last visit was to Oklahoma State and the state's No. 7 rated prospect says that he enjoyed his time up there with teammate Darnius Moore.
"It was nice up there and all the coaches were really friendly with us," Moore said. "It's going to be something in the future when they get all of their facilities that they're building."
Oklahoma is another school, in his top five, which has peaked Creer's interest.
"They're going to be real good every year basically," he said. "They had a young team last year, but they're going to be a lot better this year. All the schools in my top five have a good tradition of running backs and sending guys to the NFL."
Though he stated that it's not a final five, several teams including Texas, Nebraska, Texas A&M, and Baylor appear to be on the outside looking in.
"Texas has moved on and so I've moved on too," Creer said. "Nebraska doesn't have a shortage of running backs, so I don't know how wide open the job is up there."
