Creekview DE stays local

Carrollton (Texas) Creekview is known as the school with two very good defensive end prospects for the class of 2006. One of those is Jeremy Beal and he's heading to Oklahoma. The other is Jordan Johnson, a 6-foot-4, 241-pound strongside defensive end.
And after a weekend official visit to SMU, he's also finished with the recruiting process.

"I committed to SMU," Johnson, who recorded 85 tackles and four sacks, said. "I liked the players, and it feels like a family oriented place. I just liked everything about them.
"I visited Central Florida last weekend, and I was offered by North Texas and Cincinnati, but I just got a great feeling from SMU."
Johnson was recruited by SMU assistant coach Joe Sawyer.
"He's a good guy, and he is also very good with the players," Johnson said. "All the players really liked him."
