Crayton has a leader
Wide receiver Jeremy Crayton holds one scholarship from Akron. A number of other schools are looking at the 6-foot-0, 184-pounder out of Piscataway, N.J. Is anyone else close to offering?
"Recruiting is basically the same," he said. "I'm waiting to see my other options. North Carolina is talking to me a lot. I was given a verbal at their camp this summer. I just sent them my SAT scores and hopefully they'll get back to me.

"They are supposed to be coming to my games this fall."
The Tar Heels are a leader for Crayton at this time.
"I'm definitely favoring them, but I'm waiting on that scholarship," he said. "If I get that I'll think about committing."
In the meantime, Crayton recently visited Rutgers on Thursday for the North Carolina game.
"They sent me a letter to come for the game and I had a good time."
