Crawley preps to make plans

Houston (Texas) Cypress Ridge wide receiver Darious Crawley took his first official visit over the weekend to Michigan State and the Spartans are planning to make an in-home visit with the 5-foot-11, 191-pound standout next week.
Crawley also visited with Kansas coaches on Tuesday and the possibility of taking an official visit was discussed but nothing has been scheduled at this point.

He does not have any other in-home visits or official visits scheduled at this point, and is not ready to name favorites.
"Not really, I only took one visit," Crawley said. "Michigan State since I've visited there. I had a good time there. It was nice."
He did admit the Spartans hold a little bit of an edge at this point since it is the only visit he has taken so far.
As for when he plans to decide, Crawley is keeping an open mind right now, but he does have an idea about how he would like to handle the recruiting process.
"I'd like to take all of my visits first, so I'd say I'm not going to make a decision until around signing day," Crawley said.
Crawley has picked up offers from Colorado State, Houston, Iowa State, Kansas, ULL, Michigan State, Rice, Texas State, and UTSA over the course of the recruiting process.
