Crawford waiting on offers

Dylan Crawford sat right beside K.J. Costello on Thursday when the four-star quarterback made his commitment to Stanford and Crawford said that will play a factor in his own thinking.
The four-star receiver who recently transferred to Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Santa Margarita Catholic will consider other things as well but Costello going to Stanford is significant.

"I'm going to take this into consideration with my decision but it's not going to be the determining factor in mine but I'll definitely take it into consideration," Crawford said.
"Now I know they have a quarterback in the class and that's obviously big. You want to go somewhere where a guy can get you the ball, let you make plays and do what you need to do."
Crawford, rated as the No. 13 wide receiver and the No. 69 prospect in the 2016 class by Rivals.com, still does not have a top group of schools but there have been some ups and downs with certain programs recently.
A summer decision is still probable but Crawford said he does need to do some work in the coming months to figure out what's best.
The four-star is also waiting on an offer from Oregon although communication has been relatively limited.
"My interest in USC right now is still pretty high but I'd say it's gone down a little bit since probably the summer," Crawford said. "UCLA and USC are probably even right now.
"I'm starting to like Miami again a lot. Have you seen the Miami class? The Miami class is ridiculous right now. They have loaded talent and you could see they're going to do something special so that would be cool.
"I'm still trying to get Oregon. That would be huge for me. Stanford is up there, Michigan is up there, Washington, ASU. I really don't even have a top 10 right now."
Being patient is the game for Crawford at this point since he's waiting for an Oregon offer plus many others are showing more interest.
"That's what I'm doing right now is still waiting for Oregon, Alabama has been showing more interest in me and then Nebraska is starting to show more interest," Crawford said. "Definitely in the summer I'll probably make a commitment."
In his junior season at La Canada (Calif.) St. Francis, Crawford finished with 44 receptions for 1,006 yards and 13 touchdowns.
