Crawford trying to balance football, recruiting

Giddings, Texas running back/cornerback Dominique Crawford is trying to make a visit to watch Missouri and Baylor go out it in Big 12 play this weekend and also try to prepare for the first playoff game this Friday.
The 5-foot-10, 185-pound prospect has a brother, Dwain Crawford, who plays for the Bears, so the trip to Columbia would not only be a chance to check out both schools, but watch his brother play. He's also waiting to see if either team sends an offer soon.

"I'm trying to make the trip and I talked with coach Brian Jones from Missouri and he said they're trying to get an offer together," Crawford said. "Baylor said they are also on the verge of offering. I'm still talking with Purdue a lot as well."
Crawford says he talks to all three teams pretty much on a weekly basis. However, he is far away from making a decision.
"Things could change with new offers," Crawford said. "If Missouri sent me a scholarship, then they would be at the top with Purdue and Baylor."
"I'm not going to be ready to decide until at least a couple of days before Signing Day. It's kind of hard on me because I have a brother at Baylor and I don't want it to be him that makes my decision for me or anything like that."
