WHAT'S NEXT?: The nation's No. 17-rated wide receiver intends to schedule two other official visits with out-of-state schools. He plans to make it out to the Rose Bowl next weekend to see UCLA, and also wants to set up unofficial visits with Stanford and Washington.
IN HIS WORDS: "I went out to Michigan last summer with KJ (Costello) to check it out when Brady Hoke was there. I'm just excited to see it with the new staff and how they interact with the players," Crawford told Rivals.com. "I haven't been to Miami before and I know Brad Kaaya, and he loves it out there. I talk to him every now and then, and he's telling me to get out there so we have the California connection.
"Tennessee is my only SEC offer and I want to see the atmosphere because it looks like a lot of fun."
RIVALS' REACTION: Crawford has been waiting on the Oregon offer for quite some time but he appears to be getting serious with other programs given that the Ducks have yet to join the chase. Costello told Rivals.com he won't stop recruiting Crawford to Stanford, and Crawford also said the Bruins have ramped up their recruitment of him so there could be a local option in play. Still, the out-of-state programs certainly have caught his attention and the visits could go a long way in the decision-making process.
