Crawford impressed by UCLA trip

Dylan Crawford spent some time at the UCLA game this past weekend as he gets more familiar with one of the many programs that have already offered him.
The 2016 four-star wide receiver from La Canada (Calif.) St. Francis did not stay the entire game so he didn't get a chance to talk with the coaching staff but Crawford said he was definitely impressed with the environment at the Rose Bowl.

Spending most of the night with fellow 2016 four-star K.J. Costello, a quarterback from Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Santa Margarita Catholic, was valuable for the St. Francis receiver. The two are close friends and could be aiming to play in college together.
"There were a lot of people there," Crawford said. "That was good to see. I was there only for the first half. I didn't really get to talk much with the coaches.
"The fans were going crazy during the game. It was just a good environment all around. It's going well with UCLA. My coach went there, he's an ex-player from UCLA, so he always reminds me that I need to keep them in the top."
So far, Crawford has been offered by Arizona State, Cal, Hawaii, Miami, Michigan, Oregon State, SMU, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington.
The four-star said Notre Dame and Alabama have shown some interest recently and that more offers could be on the way.
"Some of them want me to visit and then some want to see my midseason film," Crawford said. "They want to see a five-week film."
Rivals.com rates Crawford as the ninth-best wide receiver and the No. 59 prospect in the 2016 class. He could be sending out more highlight film in the coming weeks.
