Crawford grew up watching USC

Dylan Crawford has been watching USC football for as long as he could remember.
So when the Trojans offered last week the 2016 wide receiver from La Canada (Calif.) St. Francis was thrilled and overjoyed by the news but since it's still early he's not prepared to make a commitment at this point.

Still, landing an early offer from USC is a major thing in his recruitment.
"It was a really big offer for me, huge," Crawford said. "I was just starting off with the recruiting process and something like that is going to spark other things and that's going to get other things going in the recruiting process.
"I've been growing up watching them with Reggie Bush, Robert Woods, Marqise Lee, all of them. I just watched them and it's how I do things and that's who I emulate."
The 6-foot, 172-pound receiver who looked good again this past weekend at the IMG 7on7 West Regional also received a surprise offer from Tennessee last week.
He has had some limited communication with the Tennessee coaches and he said an offer from the SEC this early can really open up other avenues.
"I'm still just looking around and seeing where I fit best," Crawford said.
"I've been talking to the wide receivers coach down there. They like me and what I can do on the field and they could see me at Tennessee.
"An SEC offer, that's big. To get an SEC offer this early in the process that's really good for me."
Hawaii has also offered the 2016 receiver. Crawford said Miami has stepped up its recruitment in recent weeks.
