Crawford considers Pac-12 trip

MORE: Hall making recruiting impact
Xavier Crawford remains committed to San Diego State, but a Pac-12 program has been poking around recently and he's considering a trip there next weekend.
Oregon State had been recruiting Crawford in the spring, but came back around in recent weeks and the Concord (Calif.) Clayton Valley Charter safety is considering a trip to Corvallis.
"I'm probably taking one this weekend," Crawford said. "I'll know by Tuesday.
"They've been recruiting me. They were recruiting me a bunch back in the spring but it started back up like two or three weeks ago.
"They want to bring me up there, get me up there and let me see everything. The coaches want to see me in person."
Crawford committed to San Diego State in mid-December and is still considering whether to take the trip to Oregon State or not, but there's a possibility he could take another visit in late January to another school.
The Northern California prospect said he's looking at Oregon State for this weekend and then Colorado State right before signing day, but hasn't finalized any plans yet.
The 6-foot, 170-pound recruit said he remains strong in his commitment to the Aztecs, but trips might change his status in the weeks leading up to signing day.
"I really don't even know right now," Crawford said.
"I'm definitely considering (Oregon State), but I don't know how serious I am with them yet. Right now I'm still solid with San Diego State."
