Crawford back from Oregon

Four-star wide receiver Dylan Crawford made a very important trip last week to Oregon, the lone school in his top 10 that has yet to extend a scholarship offer.
Though he returned home to Southern California without the offer, the Rivals100 member still considered the visit productive.

"I definitely gained some clarity and I know what I have to do to get that (offer)," Crawford said. "I really like it up there. You can tell that they are for the players. They're really going to help you when you're up there and you can tell it's a tight family. That's something I want to be a part of.
"They're still waiting right now and I think I'm going to have to make my decision a little later than I really wanted to, but it's still probably happening right before the season. I was going to do it at the end of summer, but I'm pushing my commitment back just a bit."
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound prospect from Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Santa Margarita Catholic intends to continue working towards the Ducks offer while at the same time weighing all the other options that are on the table. Stanford is a big one given the presence of high school teammate K.J. Costello.
"Stanford is strong," Crawford said. "You look at Stanford and you feel like you should go there. You know that's the right move in your heart, but obviously there are other places you'd like to go to. Stanford is always going to be at the top, mainly because of the education and football. With KJ up there, they are going to start something nice. You have seen the class right now and the commitments they're getting, and you can tell they will be dangerous in a couple years."
Locally, USC and UCLA also cracked his top 10. The Los Angeles schools offered very early in the process and though he doesn't anticipate camping with either this week, he hopes to see both various times at home games this fall.
"UCLA is recruiting me harder right now and I like them," Crawford said. "USC obviously was my first big-time offer so they've been there from the beginning."
With the season fast approaching Crawford said he has started to look at potential official visit destinations and he already has one in mind.
"I'm definitely going to get out to Miami," Crawford said. "I haven't really checked out that program yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing the tradition. Everybody has seen the 30 for 30 specials and all that, and I like the attitude and swagger they go with. That's what I'm trying to see up there."
Crawford, the No. 15-rated wide receiver in the 2016 class according to Rivals.com, had 44 receptions for 1,006 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior last year.
