Crawford back from Michigan

Four-star receiver Dylan Crawford took an important official visit this past weekend to Michigan and he definitely had a great visit. The Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Santa Margarita Catholic prospect said he loved the atmosphere and had a great time talking with coach Jim Harbaugh and others in Ann Arbor about how they would utilize him in the offense.

The key for Crawford is that the Michigan coaches told him they don't necessarily have that threat in the slot and that he could come in right away and he could contribute there.

WHAT'S NEXT?: The four-star receiver is still hashing out his official visit schedule but he's planning trips to Miami and Tennessee although he's still working on the dates. Other visits to Washington and Oregon could happen as well especially if the Ducks offer. They are supposed to stop by his school this week and that could be a major offer for Crawford to consider.
IN HIS WORDS: "I really like how it went," Crawford said. "I could see myself fitting in there. I feel like I could play there. I like the coaching staff and obviously the Michigan education is solid and the networking there is unreal.
"They don't really have a slot player who could take the fly sweep. They were showing me all the footage about how they have to bring Jabrill (Peppers) on offense to do the bubble screen routes and stuff like that. They said if I was there they wouldn't need to do that."
RIVALS' REACTION: Michigan is definitely a major contender for Crawford especially after he visited Ann Arbor this past weekend. The Wolverines could use his speed in the offense and that could be a major consideration for the four-star moving forward. There's no doubt Stanford is a serious player, too, especially with teammate QB K.J. Costello committed there. If Oregon offers, even though it's later in his recruitment, the Ducks would move way, way up.
