Crawford adds two on Tuesday

One of the hottest class of 2015 prospects in the state of Ohio is Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward cornerback Shaun Crawford, who picked up offers No. 6 and 7 from Michigan State and Miami on Tuesday.
"For the Michigan State one, our coach actually went up to their coaches clinic and saw a practice," Crawford said. "I guess they brought me up, and that's how that one happened.

"After he came back we talked a little about what he saw. He said their DB's are always active, and I liked hearing that."
The offer from Miami also went through Crawford's coach first, then the sophomore was able to follow up on the phone with their coaching staff.
"I talked to Miami today - Coach [Brennan] Carroll," Crawford said. "He told me he loved my film and showed it to the DB coach who loved it. They brought it to the head coach and he also loved it."
Crawford has a cousin who works at Michigan State, and he also has a distant connection to Miami as well.
"One of my friend's grandfather's played at Miami, so he kind of tells me about the school a little bit," Crawford said.
The offers from Michigan State and Miami join previous ones from Arkansas, Florida State, Penn State, Tennessee and Illinois.
The 5-foot-9, 165-pound prospect has not been able to attend any spring games or practices due to responsibilities with his track team.
