"My coach told me to call coach Gray from Virginia Tech," said the 6-foot-1, 290-pound Crawford. "When I called him he told me that they were offering me and wanted me to come down to their junior day."
Crawford hasn't done much research on the Hokies, but he knows a little about the program in Blacksburg.
"I know coach Beamer has built a very good program over there," he said. It's a good instate school to go to. I haven't really followed them very much. I looked at them a couple of times because we've had some alumni go there, but other than that, I haven't had much interaction with them."
Duke and North Carolina have already offered Crawford
"I haven't been in contact with any other schools except for those three," Crawford said. "If I am able to, during the next month or two I can hopefully visit Duke, Virginia Tech and maybe North Carolina along the way.
Stone Bridge has produced some very talented prospects recently. Jonathan Allen and Ryan Burns both played their high school ball at the northern Virginia powerhouse.
