Craig-Myers talks visits, decision date

Nate Craig-Myers has one official visit on his schedule in pen. His Oct. 17 trip to Notre Dame isn't going anywhere. Barring something unforeseen, the five-star wide receiver will be in the stands when the Irish take on USC. That isn't going to change in the coming months.
It's the business of scheduling four other official visits to go along with it that has him scrambling. That said, Craig-Myers has some ideas on that front.

"I definitely ant to get up to Ohio State and Alabama," Craig-Myers said. "I definitely want to visit Florida for a game … but probably not [an official]. My mom wants me to take all my officials out of state."
The rest of his schedule will shake out in the near future. For now, though, Craig-Myers remains focused on the trip already on the agenda. The Tampa (Fla.) Catholic High School standout knows plenty about Brain Kelly's program as things stand now, but the upcoming trip is still in the name of exploration.
"I just really love the tradition that they have out there," Craig-Myers said of Notre Dame. "I just want to get out there and see what they have to offer me. I want to see the new quarterbacks they have and how they get the ball to the playmakers. I want to see all that and the atmosphere."
Irish assistant coach Autry Denson is heading up Notre Dame's recruitment of Craig-Myers, and Denson will have plenty of time to make even more of an impact than he has to this point. The Five-star wideout hasn't settled on a decision date completely as of yet, but he's certainly kicking one around.
"I'm really considering announcing on Jan. 8," Craig-Myers said. "That's my mom's birthday and that's when I'm thinking."
Rivals.com ranks Craig-Myers as the No. 1 wide receiver and the No. 11 overall prospect in the class of 2016. He was once committed to Auburn before parting ways with the Tigers in May.
