Crabtree returns from KU

The race keeps getting tighter for Dallas (Texas) Carter Rivals250 athlete Michael Crabtree as his stock rises and the offers keep coming in. This past weekend, it was all about his first official visit when he took in Kansas.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound four-star Crabtree has been hearing from the Jayhawks practically since the beginning and that relationship that was being built helped make KU the first trip out of the gate.

"We're just at the airport now getting ready to head back," Crabtree said. "I didn't get a chance to talk to too many people there because everybody was gone this weekend and no one was back in school. I did get a chance though to talk with all of the coaches."
"I got to walk around and look at everything. It was pretty tight man."
Crabtree has one other official visit set to Illinois on Jan. 20. Other than that, he isn't sure of any others but is sure on how many he'll take.
"I wasn't tempted to commit even though it was a good trip because I'll take at least two more trips," Crabtree said. "I know for sure about Illinois and then we'll see."
Crabtree is rated as the No. 13 athlete in the country and the No. 91 overall prospect in the state of Texas.
