Dallas (Texas) Carter athlete Michael Crabtree was supposed to be making his first official visit this past weekend, but the 6-foot-1, 190-pound highly touted prospect was unable to make it.
Though he will reschedule the visit to Texas Tech, it looks likely that the rest of his official visits will be after the season because Crabtree looks to lead his team through a big playoff run.
"There was some family stuff I had to take care of so I couldn't go," Crabtree said. "My dad just told me it would be better if I go after the season. I'm definitely going to be visiting them though."

Crabtree added that there are quite a few teams that he is looking at like Arizona, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas State, and others. One more team added their name to the offer list.
"Oklahoma just offered," Crabtree said. "I should be getting the written part of it any day now. They said it was coming."
As for a decision or a large group of favorites, that is wide open.
"I haven't really thought about all that to be honest," he said.
Crabtree is rated as the No. 54 athlete in the country and the No. 91 overall prospect in the state of Texas.
