While the Baltimore squad is going to rely heavily on the ground game in its Wing T offense, don't expect the Washington D.C. offense to follow suit. With its arsenal of wide receivers, look for the D.C. team to air it out often. The Baltimore secondary is bound to be tested often. Each day this week, Rivals.com analyst Brian Perroni breaks down a spotlight matchup. Wednesday's matching: Baltimore secondary vs. Washington D.C. wide receivers.

The players:

Washington D.C. wide receivers: Brandon Phelps (Damascus), Levern Jacobs (Suitland), Daniel Upson (Watkins Mill), Najee Green (Gwynn Park)

Baltimore defensive backs: Adrian Amos (Calvert Hall), Devonte Jones (Mount Saint Joseph), Jose Depadua (Walkersville), Matt Semelsberger (Urbana)

The breakdown:

Phelps is the highest-rated player in the game and the Rivals250 athlete has very good speed. He played both wide receiver and safety for Damascus so he has plenty of experience at the position. However, the four-star prospect is slated to play safety when he arrives at Virginia and prefers the defensive side of the ball. He can play receiver but he is better as a defender.

Jacobs is a receiver all the way, though. The Marshall commit simply does all the little things correctly. He has very good hands and has shown the ability to catch almost everything thrown in his direction. He is not the fastest receiver on the roster but he gets the job done.

Upson is another two-way player that is being recruited at a number of positions. He is a tall receiver, though, and will be a threat in the red zone. Green is a little more unpolished than the other three, but he is a big kid who will be hard to bring down.

Amos is the leader of the Baltimore secondary and the Connecticut commit does a very good job at strong safety. Though he is a bigger defensive back that excels against the run, he can also play the pass. He will try to take away any of the intermediate passes.

Jones is another big safety that almost looks like a linebacker. He could struggle a bit against the quicker receivers of the Washington squad. The corners will give him help, though. Depadua will be one of those asked to run stride for stride with receivers and he has a big task ahead of him. Semelsberger is an Army commit that sometimes plays linebacker. He will play physically against the receivers but could be a bit of a liability against the pass.
