The matchup between the Washington D.C. offensive line and the Baltimore defensive line will not be the only fun battle in the trenches to watch on Saturday. Both teams will also go at it on the other side of the ball. Each day this week, Rivals.com analyst Brian Perroni breaks down a spotlight matchup. Tuesday's matching: Baltimore offensive line vs. Washington D.C. defensive line.

The players:

Baltimore offensive linemen: Hunter Goodwin (Gilman School), Ben Curtis (Calvert Hall)

Washington D.C. defensive linemen: Darian Cooper (DeMatha), Giovanni Francois (Wise), Joe Rosenblatt (Good Counsel), Chris Williams (Friendly)

The breakdown:

The defensive line could be considered the strength of the Washington D.C. team. The headliner of the group is Cooper, a four-star defensive tackle. Though listed at 6-foot-3 and 275 pounds, the Rivals250 prospect is probably closer to 6-foot, 270 pounds. However, he has an incredibly quick first step and is hard for opposing linemen to block. He is a very good pass rushing interior lineman that will provide headaches for the Baltimore squad.

Francois, who just moved to the area from Florida prior to this season, will line up at both end and tackle. He is another solid pass rusher who can use his speed as well as his strength. He is a lot more effective on the outside but has to move inside at times due to the lack of depth at tackle on the D.C. roster.

Williams, a likely inside linebacker at the next level, will play both end and tackle as well. He will have a chance to use his athleticism to cause mismatches. Rosenblatt will try to be the run stopper on the inside but he comes in at 6-foot-4, 250 pounds. He could have trouble with larger offensive linemen.

The Baltimore offensive line is headlined by Goodwin, a Wake Forest commit. At 6-foot-5 and 280 pounds, he is the largest lineman on the squad and will play left tackle. He could have his hands full with Francois. The two will definitely be fun to watch during the game.

Curtis will likely man the other tackle spot. The 6-foot-5, 270-pound lineman will be counted on in the running game. He moves well and can get to the second level so he should do well in that facet. However, the rest of the Baltimore line is extremely undersized. One guard is 6-foot-4, 245 pounds while the other is 6-foot-4 and only 215 pounds. The center comes in at 6-foot-1, 270 pounds.
