Cozens excited to see Missouri

Dylan Cozens is visiting Missouri this weekend and he's excited to see the campus and talk more with the coaching staff and one thing that he really likes about the Tigers is that they're moving to the SEC.
The Scottsdale (Ariz.) Chaparral defensive end would have liked to play in the Big 12 if he ends up in Missouri but he said going to the SEC is even better.

"They started talking to me in the past week," Cozens said of Missouri. "They kind of reached out to my coach.
"I know they're going to the SEC. They had a pretty solid record, they've been really good lately and it's a pretty good program. They're both good conferences but it helps. You can't get any better competition than the SEC so it helps them."
After this weekend's trip to Missouri, Cozens, who has seen his recruitment take off in the past few months, is expected to visit Washington next weekend.
In total, Cozens lists offers from Missouri, Washington, Utah, Boise State, Bowling Green, Florida International and Northern Arizona. He has already visited Boise State and could schedule other trips before making a decision.
"I'm definitely happy with how things are going," Cozens said.
One other school to watch is Arkansas since that coaching staff recently reached out to Cozens, who had 45 tackles and 7.5 sacks in his senior season.
Scottsdale Chaparral, which is loaded with Division I talent, finished the season 14-1 with its only loss coming in the season opener to Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman.
