What made Coxson pick the Nittany Lions?
"I grew up a fan of them," he said. "It means everything to commit to Penn State today. You have to be a fan before you become a lion.
"Also, my family liked Penn State and it was the best place for us."
The coaches played a factor in Coxson's choice as well.
"I liked Coach Paterno and Coach Johnson," he said. "They have really good, down-to-earth personalities. I like that."
Coxson has high expectations when he arrives at Penn State.
"I'm going to help them win a national championship."
The four-star prospect selected Penn State over numerous other scholarships including Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan and Notre Dame among many others.
