Cox with a top three

Waco (Texas) University wide receiver Perrish Cox has had to sit on the sidelines watching spring football begin due to the track season.
In that time many schools have still sent over offers including Oklahoma and Kansas just days ago. However, Cox is still thinking about his favorite schools and right now he has three on his mind.

"LSU, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State," Cox said about his top choices. "Those are out of state and they're great in football along with track. It's not real far but it's away from home."
Notre Dame and Colorado are also teams sending mail his way at the current time. Right now he's just sitting still before taking any visits and camps.
"All my visits will be in the fall," Cox said. "I'm taking my SAT in June so I'm waiting to see which camps I can make and which schools I'll see."
So far in the May calling period Texas Tech, LSU, and Oklahoma State are just a few of the schools that have checked in with Cox. Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and Mississippi State have been by the school to talk with the coaches as well.
"I'm not in a rush," he said. "It will probably be sooner than Signing Day but I don't know yet. It's exciting to see all this stuff happen right now."
