Cox takes in Pitts spring game

Demetrious Cox is one of Pitt's top prospects in the Class of 2012. As you might imagine, Pitt's coaching staff was ecstatic that he was in attendance at their spring game today.
While the weather put somewhat of a damper on things, the 6-foot-1, 185-pound athlete from Jeannette, Pa., said the experience was still well worth it.
"It went pretty good," Cox explained. "It was raining but we went in the locker room after the game. I talked to pretty much all the coaches."

Pitt is recruiting Cox as a safety and he knows he's near the top of the Panthers' recruiting board.
Where does Pitt rate on his list?
"I think they're pretty high," he admitted. "Everybody's pretty much even but I've seen them the most."
Prior to the trip to Pitt today, Cox's last trip was a couple of weeks ago to Penn State.
"We're going to try to take some more visits but I don't have anything planned," Cox continued.
Cox's plan is to take all five official visits and announce a decision after his senior season.
The talented athlete boasts of an offer list that includes schools from all over the country.
