Cox set to visit Notre Dame

Notre Dame is putting together one of the nation's top recruiting classes and the Irish are hoping to continue to build on their momentum.
Demetrious Cox, ranked the No. 14 safety in the nation by Rivals.com and a four-star prospect, will be visiting South Bend early next month.

"I'm going to Notre Dame on August 6," Cox explained. "That's just an unofficial visit. It's going to be my first time out there.
"I'm expecting to see a big campus and big opportunities. I'm hoping for an offer when I get up there."
Cox has offers from just about everyone else, it seems. In fact, when asked whether there are any other offers out there, besides Notre Dame, that he's hoping to pick up before he makes his decision he said there was not.
Does he think an offer will come from the Irish?
"It all depends on what they're thinking. I'm not really sure. They said they either wanted to get me up there to campus to offer or wait until they get my senior highlight tape. They want to take their time."
Cox's visit to Notre Dame should be his last of the summer.
He continues to maintain that he has no favorites.
