Cox ready for official No. 2

After taking his first official visit, Rivals100 cornerback Perrish Cox of Waco (Texas) University is now set to see his second school and again it's inside a Big 12 school as he's set to check out Oklahoma.
Usually not giving much away about where he's standing with schools, the 6-foot, 175-pound four-star rated two-way prospect took in Nebraska last weekend and is ready to compare that school to another conference member. It will also be a chance for him to see some more college football which he usually doesn't have time for at home.

"I just want to see how the school is," Cox said about his upcoming visit to OU. "They're going to have quite a game on their hands this weekend. I want to see how the coaching is there and how they handle everything."
"Basically, I'm looking for a team where I can go play early and battle at that position for a starting spot."
Cox, the No. 12 rated player in the state of Texas, says though his first visit went well, he wanted to take some more before he commits. After Oklahoma, one more is set up to Oklahoma State on Jan. 20. However, he's not guaranteeing that all five visits will be taken before he decides.
"It's about 50-50 right now on whether I will decide before I finish my trips or not," Cox said. "It might happen before then or not. I don't even have a clue who's going to be after OSU. LSU, that's one school I am planning on giving a visit to though. I know that."
University is not having the best season and Cox is not real sure on what the problem is as the team struggles to find winning ways.
