Cox rates second Big 12 visit high

Two weeks after his first official visit to Nebraska, Waco (Texas) University cornerback Perrish Cox felt ready to make his next trek to another Big 12 team, Oklahoma, as they took on Kansas State at home this past weekend.
When the four-star rated, Rivals100 member got there, he noticed that a lot of people were members of the team he had played against back home in Waco or had known throughout the years. That was one reason, the 6-foot, 175-pound No. 8 rated cornerback in the country gave his Oklahoma trip high marks.

"Man, the trip was fun, it was real fun," Cox said about his visit to Norman. "I hung out with Marcus Walker and Adrian Peterson a lot. I got to go over to their house and we just chilled out."
Cox is keeping things very quiet on his favorites, but he admits out of his first two trips, one stood out over the other so far.
"Well really, the Oklahoma trip has them with the upper hand because I know a few people down there," Cox said. "I mean there are guys on the team that I played against in high school. Nebraska, don't get me wrong was fun, but I didn't know as many people. That's why OU is up there right now."
Though he enjoyed the visit, Cox has been very clear about taking all visits before making a decision. Nothing changed, even though it was a positive experience in Norman.
"No, I wasn't going to decide right there," Cox said. "It was tight, don't get me wrong. But, I don't want to make any decision before I take all five trips. LSU is going to be a visit and so is Oklahoma State. I'll probably have to move the OSU trip up though because I want to be done by the time the U.S. Army All-American game is here."
