Cox looking for more offers

Brandon Cox has seen his recruitment pick up recently and after performing well at the Las Vegas Elite 11 the Pasadena, Calif., quarterback hopes things get even busier.
So far, Cox has landed offers from Arizona, Iowa State, Maryland, New Mexico State and Utah State and he's hearing from others as well.

A trip to Oregon's camp later this month could be a big deal especially if the Ducks offer him.
"I'm very excited for that one," Cox said. "Hopefully I go up there and showcase my ability and maybe get an offer."
Duke and Vanderbilt are also talking to Cox, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound lefty who threw for 2,697 yards with 26 touchdowns and five interceptions in his junior season. He also rushed for 562 yards and eight scores.
"I'm going off feeling so I'm going to talk it over with my dad and my family and see how it all plays out," Cox said.
"I'm still open and figuring everybody out. I'm still waiting it out but at the same time I'm doing my research on all the schools and they're still doing it on me."
Cox, who looked good at the Southern Cal Rivals.com Showcase Powered by FBU Select at Oaks Christian, has said in recent weeks that Arizona remains his favorite even after they picked up a commitment from Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman quarterback Anu Solomon.
"I'm really just waiting it out," Cox said.
Rivals.com rates Cox as the No. 16 dual-threat quarterback in the 2013 class and No. 53 in the California state rankings.
