Cox has one trip set

When you're a quarterback and The Head Ball Coach calls, you listen. Such was the case with Trussville (Ala.) Hewitt-Trussville quarterback Brandon Cox about two weeks ago when Florida coach Steve Spurrier called to offer a scholarship.
The Gators were always on his list, but they instantly became serious candidates when they offered Cox, one of the nation's best, a scholarship.

"What's not to like about Florida," Cox, who is 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, said.
"It's like a quarterback's dream to throw the ball all over the field and make big plays."
But Cox is still leaning slightly toward the team that beat the Gators this season - Auburn.
"They're my only visit right now," Cox said about his feelings about Auburn. "I'm going up there for the weekend of Jan. 11. I think they're an up-and-coming program that's not too far from home."
After that Cox said Florida, N.C. State, LSU, Ole Miss and Mississippi State were the serious candidates on his list.
