Cowboys score in California

Wyoming recruiting coordinator Ron Wisniewski looks like he's gotten his man. The Cowboys received good news late last night when they picked up a commitment from a sleeper two-star offensive tackle from California.
"Andy committed to Wyoming," said Brad Bickel, the father of El Cajon (Calif.) Granite Hills standout Andy Bickel. "We're all very excited about the decision."

Bickel, who is 6-foot-6 and 270 pounds, visited Wyoming back on November 11 and had picked up an offer from the Cowboy coaches after seeing him in person. He was also being recruited by Arizona, Iowa State, Kansas, Oregon State, Idaho and Idaho State, but Wyoming was the first to fall in love with his senior film.
Bickel did have positive things to say about Wyoming when interviewed after his official visit.
"Laramie is a great town," Bickel said. "The older guys on the team already made me feel like one of their own."
